Hello! I am Mrs. McCarthy! I grew up on a farm in Zap, North Dakota. I am passionate about rural communities and small-town life. I very much enjoy teaching in my home state. I went to college to obtain a business degree but developed a love for teaching shortly after graduating. I switched directions in life and spent time subbing and teaching English in China, while working towards becoming a teacher. My favorite part about teaching is watching the immense growth that can happen in a student over the course of the school year! I live in Montana with my amazing husband and two silly poodles.
