These 7th and 8th graders represented East Side at Academic Olympics in Glasgow, MT. Chosen for their dedication to learning, investment in the classroom, and ability to quickly recall information, as well as their all-around attitude towards education, these kiddos did great competing against a pool of 45 of the area's finest scholars.

Overall, in the written test compiled of 350 questions, the team placed 6th in Class 2.
But in the orals is where these kiddos really "cooked", especially Brady! Winning two rounds and making it to the championship team against Scobey (the overall written test winning team), with the score tied at 60 points apiece, Scobey pulled out the win with one final answer. My bet is that our kids will forever remember the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet now...
